“The Birds” Come to Georgia Mountain Wagyu!

There’s always something new at Georgia Mountain Wagyu! Yesterday we had our first ”Big Snow – 3 inches”. As the snow was arriving, a group of cardinals decided to hold a family reunion and feast at our bird feeder. There were close to 2 dozen at any given time.

Here’s the next morning:

Cattle-wise, since last time we have completed the weaning of the August calves. Their Mommas are still near them, but are separated by a fence, until we conduct pregnancy checks on the 5 we implanted with embryos. The pregnant ones will stay, while the others go home to Brookshire Farm.

We are still targeting a late 2021/early 2022 for beef availability. Stay tuned!!
